Forskolin

Derived from Plectranthus barbatus (also known as Coleus forskohlii or Indian nettle), this extract is a natural source of forskolin.

Forskolin increases intracellular levels of cyclic AMP (cAMP), a key messenger that supports the function of various hormones and cellular mediators. Additionally, cAMP plays a vital role in intercellular hormonal regulation along the hypothalamus–pituitary–endocrine glands axis.

Because of these effects, forskolin is commonly used by athletes during fat loss phases and to support the development of lean muscle mass.
